Macin died in an unexpected tragic accident at the age of 2 1/2 on September 13, 2014. He was the most beautiful boy I have ever laid eyes on, with the most beautiful heart. I struggle everyday on how to get up in the mornings without him. I don't know how to not talk to him on a daily basis. It kills my insides that I cannot hold him and kiss him and hear his beautiful voice. I don't understand why God took him away from his beautiful family or why he was never able to meet his amazingly wonderful baby brother, Beaux.

What I do know, is that I have a love for him that will never go away. I'm not sure if I will ever heal, or if I will ever know if I'm "grieving" correctly, but I do know that I want to do everything for him that I possibly can. If that means raising money to help other parents, I will. There was a reason God gave him to me and then took him away so suddenly, a reason I will never know until I meet him again. But, no parent should ever have to feel the pain that I feel each and every day.
